John Sr and Grace Tamminga were Joyce Piltz Fisher's Great Grandparents on her mother's side.
Grace's maiden name was Johnson.

(He died in 1911.)
It appears that at some point the next generation dropped one of the two m's in the spelling of Tamminga.
